CSB Open Day 2026: A fantastic showcase of structural biology

The Imperial's Centre for Structural Biology held its annual Open Day conference. The event featured three excellent invited speakers: David Haselbach, Michael Grange, and Argyris Politis, and a variety of internal talks - thanks to Prof. Konstantinos Beis (CSB director) for the invitation to speak and for organising such a stimulating day.

We also celebrated two of our outstanding MRes students, Lenka Mrazova and Jayme Ramsey-Moodie, who delivered excellent poster presentations.

Special thanks to Paul Simpson (South Ken campus) and Dr Nora Cronin (LonCEM, Crick) for their invaluable support of our challenging cryo-EM/ET projects.
