Ellie Hanzi joins the Lab as a PhD Student

We’re thrilled to welcome Ellie Hanzi to the team!

Ellie graduated with an MBiolSci (First-Class Honours) from the University of Sheffield.

Her PhD project will focus on developing genetic code expansion and bio-orthogonal labelling of prions in human cells to track prion infection dynamics.

We thank the Aguzzi lab for the kind provision of cell lines for Ellie’s project.

We’re excited to have Ellie’s curiosity and fresh perspective, and we look forward to her contributions to the lab’s ongoing research efforts and to the academic community.
